A CNC Vertical Lathe Machine, also known as a Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL), is a type of machine tool used to perform turning operations on large, heavy, and complex workpieces. The machine features a vertical spindle orientation in contrast to the more common horizontal spindle found in traditional lathes. This vertical design makes it easier to machine large and heavy components, as the workpiece is supported from below, and gravity helps to keep it stable during the machining process.
